Colors: Orange - Yellow - Light Green - Red - Dark Green - Dark Brown - Fuchsia - Purple - Cyan Blue.
(I used a combination of Anchor and DMC, the motifs are so tiny that you can use any floss scraps or the colors you prefer on your imagination)
Hello there! It has been days preparing this funny Summer Sampler, specially designed to enjoy the last days of summer in the North hemisphere. Here in Chile we are in winter, so I enjoy thinking on the summer days and remembering that warm feeling.
I'm offering this free SAL just to start creating a community of stitchers, to get in touch with you and of course to make my work been noticed. But above all, I think that one of the multiple benefits of cross-stitching is that it lets us imagine and combine things the way we want, and see each others work is a way of making this tangible. So please, feel free to join in!
Rules:
♡ Make a comment in this entry with your email and (if you have it) your blog adress. The email is going to be the adress that I'm using to deliver to you the weekly motifs, so it has to be a working adress that you check often. The blog adress is just to be in touch and make this really feel like a SAL!
♡ Commit. The design has 18 little motifs of 20x20 stitches each one, so is an easy and funny piece. Every week I'm sending to your email 3 motifs (20x60 stitches total), and we commit to check-in at Instagram or at your own blog (or both if you prefer) once a week to show each others work. We share the knowledge that this SAL is just for fun, but respect the dates is important to give this a sense of community. Of course, you can (and I hope you do) show how your work grows anytime you want. So the dates will be:
☆ Monday 3rd August (and the whole week until Friday 7th, to wait for people who wants to join in) - First delivery.
☆ Sunday 9th August - First check-in.
☆ Monday 10th August - Second delivery (just for people that checks-in. I will wait until ☆ Monday 10th itself to check-ins, and that delivery will be send Tuesday 11th).
☆ Sunday 16th August - Second check-in.
☆ Monday 17th August - Third delivery (same as previous delivery. This will be the same way in any delivery day).
☆ Sunday 23th August - Third check-in.
☆ Monday 24th August - Fourth delivery.
☆ Sunday 30th August - Fourth check-in.
☆ Monday 31st August - Fifth delivery.
☆ Sunday 6th September - Fifth check-in.
☆ Monday 7th September - Sixth (and last) delivery.
☆ Sunday 13th September - Sixth (and last) check-in.
Those are all the rules. Really calling them "rules" sounds like a joke, doesn't?

♡ At the end of the SAL, I'm going to host a giveaway of one of my digital patterns at the winner's choice. This will only include the people that respect the dates and finishes the SAL. Also, following With my threads at the social networks (links at the right column) or/and the Blog will add more winning posibbilities to those people, so stay tuned! ♡ I'm pregnant with almost 40 weeks. So some dates can change, but I will be announcing that ASAP. Isn't the idea, but is good to know that there's the possibility and why it can happens.
